In this role, an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a clinical leader on the floor, providing direct, compassionate care and supporting the total well-being of our residents. Your core responsibilities include:
- Advanced Clinical Care: Administer medications accurately, manage IV therapies, perform wound care, and execute complex treatments strictly per physician orders and facility protocols.
- Vigilant Observation: Meticulously evaluate resident wellness, monitoring for any acute physical or cognitive changes, and promptly reporting conditions to the attending RN or physician.
- Clinical Leadership & Oversight: Support the implementation of comprehensive resident care plans while actively supervising, directing, and guiding CNA tasks on the floor to ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Rigorous Compliance: Maintain precise, defense-eligible electronic health records (EHR) in complete adherence to HIPAA guidelines, state regulations, and facility policies.
- Resident & Family Advocacy: Build strong, trust-based relationships with residents and their loved ones, answering clinical questions with empathy and providing reassurance during care transitions.
To be considered for this vital role as an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
, you must possess:
- License: Must hold an active, unencumbered LPN Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin.
