Title: RN - Medical/Surgical

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Contract / Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: Nights 7p – 7a, 12 hour shifts, every third weekend

Hours per week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Travel

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The position aligns with the ANA Nursing:
Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

• Minimum 2 years of RN – Medical/Surgical experience
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
• AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

• One year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
