Job SummaryCashier position reporting to Guest Service Department Manager. Join our team to provide outstanding service, ensuring every shopper leaves ready to return.
Responsibilities- Engage with Guests: Engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.
- Efficient Transactions: Scan grocery items, process sales efficiently, and handle monetary transactions with care.
- Bagging with Care: As needed, bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in the condition they left our store.
- Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
- Maintain Order: Keep your register station neat and well stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communication: Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Quality Standards: Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
- Teamwork: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, with adequate notice for absences.

Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service. - Retail
Experience:
Ability to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash and media at registers. - Communication: Strong communication skills with both customers and retail associate team members.
- Accuracy: Ability to read, count, and write accurately for precise transactions.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Ability to stand in place for long periods; walk in the store; bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye‑hand‑foot coordination to operate equipment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, lifting as necessary to perform all duties.
- Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
The Cashier position offers flexible, part‑time and full‑time opportunities, with schedules that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on availability.

- Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly. Part‑time associates receive a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Full‑time associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
