ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty) uses geographic analysis and engages with physician offices to influence key decision makers to route patients’ specialty drug prescriptions to Center Well Specialty Pharmacy. The role focuses on increasing orders to Center Well Specialty Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenue. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where analysis requires in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
You will make decisions on technical approaches for project components and perform work without direction, exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
- Build relationships with front and back‑office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory.
- Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications.
- Become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.
- Reside in or be within commuting distance of Northern Illinois, through Milwaukee, Wisconsin, up to Green Bay, Wisconsin, or be willing to relocate at own expense.
- Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Experience analyzing sales data and market trends to make effective decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships across partnering business segments to support organizational goals.
- Comfortable with field work 5 days per week within territory lines and occasional overnight travel.
- Part of Humana’s Fleet Driver safety program requiring possession of a company fleet vehicle and a valid state driver’s license.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool.
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Specialty Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred.
- Workstyle:
Field – employees perform core duties at non‑company locations. - Travel Required:
Up to 50%, 5 days per week within an assigned territory line, occasional overnight travel; additional travel may include off‑site team engagement meetings, possibly with air travel and overnight stays. - Driving Record:
Evaluated as part of a background check; certain infractions may affect eligibility. - Typical Workdays &

Monday – Friday;
Central Standard Time (CST).
