As an Electrical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in all electrical work related to our manufacturing processes. This includes bending conduit, pulling wire, working with control circuitry, and interpreting electrical blueprints. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in commercial and industrial construction electrical work, exhibiting precision, efficiency, and a commitment to safety at all times.

Role + Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Pull wire and terminate devices such as receptacles, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Work with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment in accordance with industry standards.
  • Execute duties typical of a Commercial/Industrial Construction Electrician, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities effectively, managing time efficiently to meet project objectives.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating effectively with colleagues, helping, and responding positively to feedback.
  • Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Fulfill additional job duties assigned by the company, remaining flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
  • Coordinator responsibilities:
    • Check in with assembly leads. Know what units they are snapping and what they are going to be snapping and where.
    • After break, check in with all jobs and employees on the floor. Get a feel for the jobs, answer questions, know what's left to be done, and how long it is going to take. Scan the units for quality issues.
    • Promote a positive mental attitude, communication, and a team mentality.
    • After lunch, check in with all jobs and employees on the floor. Get a feel for the jobs, answer questions, know what's left to be done and how long it is going to take. Scan the units for quality issues.
    • Bring the inspection forms into the units and make sure they get filled out.
    • Constantly comb over all areas for unorganized material and messes that need to be cleaned up and organized. Delegate the tasks, ensuring that areas are staying clean.
    • Look ahead constantly. Establish plans. Where everyone will be working every day. Have a plan for night shift before they arrive. Use the white boards so everyone knows their destination.
    • Towards the end of completion on jobs, thoroughly inspect units to bring awareness to fixes to guys in the units (pre-final inspection).
    • If jobs are close to being finished, ensure that whoever is left in the unit is being thorough in cleaning up the units entirely to 100% completion.
    • Check the visual dispatch daily for jobs that need to be closed out. Email proper parties with issues in trying to do so.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Experience:

    Two – three years of commercial/industrial electrical work preferred. Working knowledge of NEC Electrical codes and proficient conduit bending skills. State journeymen or masters license is a plus.
