Accounting Business Audit Intern - Winter

We are looking for a business audit intern to join our team. The internship is full‑time (40 hours per week), starting in January 2027 and running through mid‑April. Upon successful completion, full‑time employment opportunities may be available.

• Build on knowledge acquired in college to gain a functional level of technical and operational knowledge to proficiently perform assigned tasks.
• Prepare and self‑review work papers in conformity with standards including scope/objective/procedure/conclusion, adequate supporting documentation, and tickmark and workpaper cross‑references.
• Communicate with clients on‑site, by phone, or e‑mail to obtain accurate information and relevant supporting documentation to support workpaper conclusions.
• Draft audit reports and other engagement documents.
• Perform analytical and detailed work with numerical data efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize and develop a functional understanding of firm software and internal workflow/procedures to manage binder documentation and maintain client information.
• Exercise discretion and judgment when working with confidential client matters.
• Provide assistance as needed to the department team.
• Gain an understanding of the importance of networking and business development.
• Participate in professional organizations and begin to develop a business network.
• Develop an awareness and understanding of and comply with the Firm's code of ethics, independence rules and quality control practices.
• Other duties as assigned

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Intermediate Accounting I (preferred)

The pay rate for this role is $27 per hour.
