Tax​/Audit Intern

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services
• Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, work papers, and systems
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget
• Identify issues and communicate progress
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities
• Complete research and special projects as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to client sites
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week

Demonstrates strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting while effectively managing multiple client engagements. Proficient in preparing various tax returns and conducting assurance services, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
