Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
Hours generally between 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday
Key functions of this position consist of performing various tasks dealing with the credentialing/recredentialing, licensing, DEA and certifications for the providers. Performs primary source verifications of credentials information. Works with clinic providers and staff, other medical facilities, hospitals, medical liability insurance company, health insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure that credentialing/recredentialing for the providers is current and completed in an efficient manner.
This position is also responsible for assisting with reporting, spreadsheets, monthly/quarterly department statistics and dashboards, special projects, assisting with office management duties, coordinating and scheduling meetings, coordinating the review and updating of department policies and procedures and developing and managing electronic resources to support Revenue Management efficiencies.
Required:
- 5+ years experience in an administrative environment or working with management level staff
- Posesses exceptional organizational and communications skills
- Ability to maintain highest level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of billing
Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.
Benefits & CompensationBase Pay Range: $18.25-$25.55, initial pay based on relevant work experience.
