Customer Service Representative – The Paw Mankato, Destination Pet

Reporting ToThe General Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing- Welcome pet parents and their pets with a friendly, 5‑star level of service.
- Answer phones with a smile and manage multi‑line phone systems.
- Tour new clients through the facility and sell services that keep tails wagging.
- Ensure vaccination records are up‑to‑date for safety compliance.
- Manage check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and with a personal touch.
- Handle cash, cards, and balance the end‑of‑day cash drawer.
- Respond to complaints professionally and calmly.
- Escort pet guests to and from their enclosures with care and patience.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby for first impressions.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Strong people‑person skills and a love for pets.
- Prior experience in customer service or retail preferred.
- Excellent communication skills across phone, in‑person, and email channels.
- Comfort with multi‑line phones and computer systems.
- Calm under pressure and problem‑solving ability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: 1+ year of customer service experience.
- Mon‑Fri: 7:00am‑12:30pm and 12:30pm‑5:30pm, evening 8pm let‑out.
- Sat: 7:45am‑12:00pm and 12:00pm‑4:30pm, evening 8pm let‑out.
- Sun: 8:00am‑11:45am and 1:00pm‑4:30pm, evening 8pm let‑out.
