Mankato Christian Academy is prayerfully seeking a gifted, confessional Christian educator who is deeply passionate about Scripture, Church history, and discipling high-school students.

You are someone who:

• Loves teenagers and believes the Christian home, the local church and Christian school partner to shape the next generation of faithful servant-leaders.
• Holds unapologetically to the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture and the historic creeds of the Church.
• Can approach Christian unity and doctrinal difference in the spirit of C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity.
• Is theologically mature, gracious, and able to teach and shepherd students and families from a variety of evangelical and confessional backgrounds with warmth and clarity.
• Has a contagious love for the whole counsel of God—Old and New Testaments, systematic theology, apologetics, and church history—and can teach it well to 9th–12th graders.

This unique role combines classroom teaching (approximately 4 sections) with leadership of the spiritual-life program of the school. You will teach core Bible classes while serving to coordinate chapel lea, discipleship groups, and overall culture of faith formation.

Based on gifting and school need, teach a selection of:

• Old Testament Survey (Grade
  9)
• New Testament Survey (Grade 10)
• Readings in Christian Thought (Grade 11)
• Worldview & Culture (Grade 12)
• Possible other courses/electives in your area of expertise or related disciplines.
