* Job Description
The Partnerships and Student Support Coordinator will facilitate the development and maintenance of collaborative relationships with P-12 partners, higher education and other stakeholders to advance the college's vision, commitment and values. Working closely with the Dean of the College of Education, this position provides support for the ongoing growth of the Minnesota Educator Partnerships (MEP) and will also seek opportunities to develop partnerships in support of the Counseling and Student Personnel and Aviation departments as well as special initiatives defined by the dean.
This position also collaborates with the Office of Field and International Experience to assist in the placement, supervision, and evaluation of student teachers and field experience candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in education plus a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in teaching, education, leadership, or outreach.
- Experience in strategic program planning and implementation, leading change management and process improvement methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively across divisions and colleges with personnel at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working in the areas of racial equity and social justice.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- PhD or Ed.D. in Education or related field
- Minimum two (2) years track record of successful K-12 or higher education faculty and academic administrative experience.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations as well as regional and accrediting body requirements related to professional education.
- Knowledge of professional education needs, student demographic trends, and the role of professional education in closing the achievement and opportunity gaps of student learners.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
