RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION
:

• Collect, organize, and analyze program data to support assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement
• Maintain systems for tracking candidate progress, including enrollment, retention, and completion
• Gather and synthesize student and graduate feedback to inform program improvements
• Support communication, recruitment, and program materials (e.g., D2L, informational resources)
• Collaborate with faculty and partners to support program coordination and student success

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
:

• Demonstrated experience working with data (collection, organization, or analysis)
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and working with diverse student populations
• A Bachelor's Degree
• Admitted to a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate program by start date.
• Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) graduate credits per semester during assistantship, and in good academic standing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:

• Ideal for students interested in teacher education, program evaluation, or data-driven decision-making
• Strong emphasis on organization, accuracy, and data management across multiple systems
• Opportunity to work on initiatives related to recruitment, retention, and student success
• Potential to contribute to program development, research, or assessment efforts
• This is an in-person position; applicants must be enrolled in an on-campus program (online-only students are not eligible)
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.

SALARY/STIPEND
:
Up to $10,000 plus tuition stipends, dependent upon availability of funds, period of appointment, and assignment. Appointments made after the tenth day of classes are not eligible for a tuition waiver.

Minnesota State System policy requires that graduate assistants must reside within the State of Minnesota for the duration of their appointment.
