Compensation: $120,000 – $165,000 + Performance-Based Bonus
Location: Remote
We are supporting a technical engineering and surveying firm with decades of excellence and deep expertise in renewable energy integration (Solar PV, BESS), Power Studies, and Substation design.
They are seeking a Substation Project Manager to lead the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of substation design projects. This role demands a blend of technical understanding, leadership, and precise project management.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliver to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, clear, and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, P&C) to maintain alignment and quality control.
- Oversee quality control, ensuring all technical deliverables meet internal standards and client requirements.
- Support proposal development efforts, providing accurate input on scope, design criteria, and schedules.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent field is required.
- Proven experience managing substation or related power delivery engineering projects from design through delivery.
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices (budgeting, billing, schedule tracking).
- Proficiency with project tools, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and standard project management software.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams.
