We are searching for an experienced Part time Design Engineer - PT at our Mankato, MN facility.

You’ll Do
- Create manufacturing drawings and documentation based on customer orders and specifications
- Develop submittal drawings for customer approval
- Build Bills of Materials in our ERP system for project‑specific needs
- Work in 3D parametric modeling software
- Support the plant with technical questions during manufacturing
- Create installation instructions and parts manuals that are clear and user‑friendly
- Background in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Drafting, or similar — or equivalent experience
- Around 4+ years of education, design or drafting experience (but again — let’s talk if you’re close!)
- Experience with 3D parametric modeling (Inventor, CREO, Solid Works)
- Familiarity with Solid Works
- Ability to create clear instructions, documentation, or process guides
- Flexible hours
