Overview
As a new or recent college graduate at Braun Intertec, you will play a crucial role on our engineering team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients. Our fast‑paced rotation will lead to engineering career opportunities with an emphasis in one or more of the following:
Geotechnical engineering, construction inspections and testing oversight, slope stability, deep foundations, in‑situ instrumentation, pavement engineering, bituminous materials, concrete materials.
Our projects range in all sizes and complexities, including NFL, MLB, and MLS stadiums; interstate highways; municipal and county roadways; light rail transit; bus rapid transit; commercial and multi‑family low‑rise to high‑rise structures; water and wastewater plants and utilities; in‑situ assessment of structures and materials.
Responsibilities- Perform various field and laboratory tests.
- Work independently on specific assignments of limited scope and as a team member on larger projects.
- Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects.
- Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects.
- Maintain client communications and build client relations.
- Devise solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review.
- Observe construction in progress and report to project or senior engineer.
- Gain experience relevant to work toward obtaining Professional Engineer license.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related field.
- Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform field services at least 50% of time during the program field rotation.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Occasional ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time.

Compensation Range: $50,000.00 – $74,000.00.
