We are searching for an experienced Part‑time Design Engineer - PT at our Mankato, MN facility.

Responsibilities- Create manufacturing drawings and documentation based on customer orders and specifications.
- Develop submittal drawings for customer approval.
- Build Bills of Materials in our ERP system for project‑specific needs.
- Work in 3D parametric modeling software.
- Support the plant with technical questions during manufacturing.
- Create installation instructions and parts manuals that are clear and user‑friendly.
What You Might Bring
- Background in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Drafting, or similar — or equivalent experience.
- Around 4+ years of education, design or drafting experience (but again — let’s talk if you’re close!).
- Experience with 3D parametric modeling (Inventor, CREO, Solid Works).
- Familiarity with Solid Works.
- Ability to create clear instructions, documentation, or process guides.
