Quality Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

This role involves data research and support for quality improvement projects.

Shift: 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm)

Location:

North Mankato, MN (On‑site)

Starting Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 Hourly (Pay Frequency: Bi‑Weekly)

• Perform data research in Oracle for defect analysis trends
• Assist the Quality Engineers in root cause determination
• Assist in continuous improvement implementation and lean projects
• Use database for data mining and analysis reports
• Read and understand drawings and blueprints

• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• Basic knowledge or interest in learning continuous improvement tools (Pareto & trend charts)
• Basic knowledge of corrective action problem solving tools such as 8‑D, cause/effect diagrams, flow charts, 5‑whys
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
