Position SummaryAs the Sr. Product Design Engineer, you will assist with design release control and engineering change management. The role collaborates with cross‐functional teams including design engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, and logistics, and is responsible for the control of current products and introduction of new products for production.
Key Accountabilities- Coordinate engineering change management, requests, and cross‑functional collaboration for new and existing product changes.
- Create and maintain product BOMs and part numbers in ERP systems, ensuring complete and accurate structures.
- Support new product design and development, providing input and troubleshooting for Bills of Material concerns.
- Resolve project issues, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to product design processes and documentation.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Manufacturing Engineering, and at least 5 years of experience, or 9 years of experience in application, service, sales, or manufacturing engineering within a large equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management processes and principles.
- Proficient knowledge of design development, manufacturing and assembly operations, and engineering processes and procedures.
- Proficient with SAP, PTC Windchill, Windows for PC, and Excel.
- Proficient with data mining and data cleansing using SAP, Excel, and other company software.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Management experience or exposure to diverse challenges and cultures.

Pay Range: $98,566 – $160,169 annually
