This position is involved with the day-to-day operations ensuring coverage of the Physical Therapy Department. The Physical Therapy Clinical Assistant works closely with the Physical/Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapy Manager, and Director. The Physical Therapy Clinical Assistant requires minimal supervision, assists with workflows in order to provide quality patient care, assumes responsibility for designated services and assists staff and Physical Therapy Manager in administration and management of meeting goals and objectives that are set forth by the Mankato Clinic’s Board of Directors and Administration.
Required- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clerical skills including ability to utilize office computers/programs
- Attention to detail, great teamwork skills, and excellent communication skills required
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required or obtained within 90 days of start date
- Two or more years of experience working as a Clinical Assistant, EMT, Nursing Assistant, or in direct patient care.
- A general knowledge of medical practice
- Dedication to patient satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively with all providers, staff and patients
Base Pay Range: $17.40-$24.20, initial pay based on relevant work experience.
