The Associate Director, Workday Talent, HCM & Rewards is a strategic, hands‑on leader responsible for the seamless delivery and optimization of key Workday modules related to the employee lifecycle. This role oversees functional areas including Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance, and Compensation. The Associate Director partners with HR COEs to translate business needs into scalable solutions, guide configuration strategy, and ensure a streamlined and intuitive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance, and Compensation modules.
  • Manage a team of analysts and senior analysts, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
  • Act as a Workday solution architect and subject‑matter expert across employee lifecycle processes.
  • Partner closely with Total Rewards, Talent Management, and HRBP teams to ensure systems align with firm‑wide talent strategy.
  • Drive prioritization and execution of roadmap initiatives, enhancements, defects, and operational needs.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional project teams, delivering high‑quality configuration, documentation, testing, and change management.
  • Leverage business acumen and data to optimize functionality and improve stakeholder outcomes.
  • Lead Workday biannual release impact assessments and adoption plans for assigned modules.
  • Drive adoption of Workday best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of progressive HRIS experience with deep Workday configuration expertise.
  • Hands‑on experience in one of the following:
    Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance, Compensation at least two
  • Proven experience leading teams and cross‑functional projects in a matrixed environment.
  • Workday Pro Certifications in relevant modules are a strong plus.
  • Strong storytelling, influencing, and communication skills.
  • High business acumen with a passion for enhancing employee experience through technology.
