Pioneer Bank is searching for a dynamic professional to join our team as a member of our Human Resources team! This individual will have a passion for employees, culture development, Human Resource compliance and personnel recruiting, onboarding and management. This role serves as a key partner in the Human Resources team, helping build and maintain a highly engaged, compliant, and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities in the Human Resources Role:

  • Coordinate recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to supervisors and employees on workplace issues, employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, compensation initiatives, open enrollment activities, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulatory requirements, including ACA, EEO, OSHA, I-9, affirmative action, and retirement plan obligations.
  • Manage employee performance review programs, leadership development initiatives, succession planning, and training programs.
  • Oversee HR systems, employee records, workforce analytics, reporting, and audit coordination.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition programs, mentorship initiatives, and organizational culture efforts.
  • Conduct workplace investigations, manage disciplinary processes, and guide leave administration, including FMLA.
  • Collaborate with Finance on payroll governance, compensation analysis, benefits administration, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications for this Opportunity
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in the human resources field, or in a business or related discipline. Possessing related experience and equivalent education may also be accepted.
  • Background in Human Resources, employee engagement and/or supervision preferred. A solid foundation in human resources management and compliance procedures a benefit.
  • Preferred Experience:

    3+ years of experience in Community Bank Human Resources and/or Human Resources responsibilities in a company with 100+ employees.

  • Confidentiality:
    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Exceptional Communication

    Skills:

    Outstanding ability to convey ideas and information effectively. Comfortable with hard conversations and performance coaching opportunities.
  • Strong working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office and other standard software application tools
