Field Service Engineer - CT / PET / Nuclear Medicine (USA)

Must-Have Requirements
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder (valid work authorization required)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience servicing/installing medical imaging equipment (CT or PET mandatory; Nuclear equipment preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with medical imaging systems troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently in field-based environments
  • Willingness to travel across the US (and internationally if required)
Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for delivering high-quality onsite and remote technical support for advanced CT, PET, and Nuclear Medicine imaging systems. This role ensures system reliability, customer satisfaction, and successful installations while collaborating closely with Service Leadership, Engineering, and Sales teams to enhance product performance and service excellence.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and remote break-fix support for software, hardware, IT, and clinical applications
  • Perform new system installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
  • Take full ownership of customer experience and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Escalate and coordinate with internal teams for effective problem-solving
  • Maintain direct communication with customers and ensure follow-up until resolution
  • Support first-of-kind installations and new product introductions
  • Provide regular status reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as technical resource and customer advocate when required
  • Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams to address service and revenue opportunities
  • Identify process improvements in tools, training, and workflows
  • Report directly to the Director of Service
Experience, Knowledge,

Skills & Qualifications
  • BS in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience servicing and troubleshooting industrial or medical equipment
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, software installation/upgrades, and electro‑mechanical assemblies
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions in field situations
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
  • Flexible to support multiple locations as required
