More Than Customer Service
This is not a call‑center job, and you won't be reading from a script. As our Inside Sales & Order Management Specialist, you own the lifecycle of complex B2B orders from purchase order through invoice. You'll be the central connection among our customers, our foundry floor, and our outside vendors, coordinating value‑added services such as painting, heat treating, and machining, and ensuring every shipment goes out accurately and on time.
If you like analyzing data, untangling supply chain problems, and managing detailed workflows in an ERP system, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do- Own technical order management. Review incoming purchase orders for accuracy before entry and maintain data integrity in our ERP system routing instructions, terms, and ship‑to details.
- Coordinate the supply chain. Issue purchase orders to external partners for painting, heat treating, and machining. Track parts through those vendors and manage relationships to keep everything on schedule.
- Support logistics and scheduling. Prepare and monitor production schedules, coordinate carrier pickups, and expedite shipments under tight deadlines.
- Solve real problems. Serve as the primary professional contact for B2B customers, resolving inquiries about engineering change requests (ECRs), inventory levels, and production timelines.
- Keep the systems clean. Maintain Product Master data, manage tooling orders, and process Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs) and daily invoicing.
- You're detail‑obsessed and know that one small data‑entry error can cause big problems downstream.
- You're comfortable verifying complex documentation and asking questions until it's right.
- You like being the person everyone trusts to know where an order stands.
- You'd rather solve a logistics puzzle than follow a script.
- Manufacturing or logistics experience preferred. You understand (or want to learn) how a product moves from raw casting to a finished part. Experience with ERP systems, Bills of Lading (BOL), or industrial logistics is a strong plus.
- Tech‑savvy. …
