Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

Condux International Inc., a leader in specialized tools for power and fiber optic cable installation, is seeking a Buyer to support our manufacturing operations. In this hands-on role, you will source and purchase materials, components, and services that meet strict safety and quality standards. You'll evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, manage purchase orders and inventory levels, and coordinate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams.

This position offers the opportunity to drive cost savings, improve reliability, and contribute directly to product performance used by utilities and contractors worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, components, and services to support manufacturing of cable installation tools and equipment
• Evaluate and negotiate with vendors on pricing, quality, and delivery terms to optimize cost and reliability
• Issue and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and production schedules to prevent material shortages or delays
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications and safety standards
• Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement in the supply chain
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor data, and compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Support new product introductions by coordinating sourcing of prototype and production materials
