Substitute Custodian – Mankato Area Public Schools

Mankato Area Public Schools is recruiting Substitute Custodians on an on-call basis Monday - Friday.

Base pay: $18.77/hr – $19.10/hr (actual rate will be based on skills and experience).

• 1st Shift – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• 2nd Shift – 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• 4‑hour Shift – 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

• Clean classrooms, halls, gymnasiums, and lavatories.
• Gather and dispose of refuse.
• Move furniture as needed.
• Set up equipment for sports events.
• Must be able to lift safely.
• Must be able to work well with others and work alone, follow written instructions.

$15.00 background check required before starting.

Custodial Training Time - Total 3 Hrs.
Initial custodial training approx. 2 hours.
Safety training 1 hour.
Paid training.

NOTE:

These positions are not permanent and are on an on-call basis.
There are no benefits associated with these substitute positions.
