** Janitor**. The Facilities Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all assigned areas of the facility. This role ensures buildings are well-kept and presentable for employees, visitors, and customers by performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance tasks.

Shift:
*** 1st Shift;
Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
* We have flexibility for available hours!
** Your Responsibilities:
*** Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
* Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
* Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
* Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
* Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
* Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors
* Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures
* Use cleaning equipment and supplies properly and safely
* Perform occasional deep-cleaning tasks as needed
* Support special events or emergency cleanups when required
** You Must Have:
*** Previous janitorial or custodial experience a plus, but not required
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently
* Strong attention to detail
* Dependable, punctual, and professional
** Requirements within this position:
*** Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
* Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
* Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
* Frequently required to move inside the facility
* Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $14.00 - 18.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
