8-Hour Floating Evening Custodian

Position: 8-Hour Floating Evening Custodian at Mankato Area Public Schools.

North Mankato, MN.

$20.26/hr - $20.79/hr

General cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and hallways. Clean and setup of Commons. Some light maintenance work. Assisting in event set-up and tear-downs. Snow removal from entryways. Lifting and moving furniture, boxes and other equipment.

• Understand and carry out both written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures, equipment and cleaning products.
• Maintain work schedules in the performance of cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships and harmony within the workplace.
• Must be capable of lifting 50-75 lbs, stand and walk for 7-8 hours per day.
• General cleaning knowledge.
