Job Purpose:The Punch Press Operator will operate equipment for assigned work in a safe and productive manner at the direction of the Punch Press Lead.
Job Responsibilities:- Insert and remove metal material in a variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Operate punch press with a variety of materials in coil, strips, and blanks.
- Ensure product produced meets or exceeds customer specifications.
- Review work orders and follow process specifications to avoid errors.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure safe equipment operation, notify supervisor to resolve process, product, equipment, and production issues.
- Provide correct part counts, move parts to the next sequence on job packet.
- All other duties as designated by management.

Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some knowledge of the operation of manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to interact effectively with management and coworkers; assist others with equipment operating problems; understand and follow job routing instructions; knowledge of fixtures, tools, and gauges to measure tolerances and mechanical skills in troubleshooting equipment to produce parts to print.
