Hours:
primarily between 2 PM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend work opportunities, on average every six weeks, on Sundays that lab technicians also cover.
Starting Salary Range: $16 /hr – $18 /hr

You’ll become OSHA 10 Certified, attend monthly safety meetings and put your safety knowledge to work on the production floor. - Teamwork:
You’ll join a cross‑functional team with in‑depth knowledge about processes and will have opportunities to maximize productivity and efficiency as well as improve operations and processes. - Directly impact our customers:
You’ll conduct testing and provide customer material certifications for customers in the heavy trucking, agricultural and other industries to the highest standard of quality.
- Assists in the implementation and execution of laboratory processes and improvement projects.
- Performs laboratory testing, chemical and microstructure analysis.
- Conducts calibration and physical strength testing.
- Ensures that lab equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Maintains daily production records necessary for process management and/or material certification.
- Determines and monitors appropriate parts and consumable stocking levels for the laboratory.
- Works with a team to determine and research laboratory equipment needs and purchases.
- Maintains a calibration database of laboratory and production equipment and part specific gauges.
- Makes arrangements to keep calibration current.
- Writes customer material certifications.
- Provides feedback on lab process effectiveness to supervisor.
- Offers suggestions for improvements of operations or processes.
- Performs physical and cognitive demands promoting safety in the work environment required for this position.
- Attends work during regularly scheduled hours and outside regular hours as necessary.
- Communicates and interacts effectively and efficiently with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers.
- Agile Development: the ability to use computer programs for data entry and the ability to learn how to use different types of machinery and equipment safely.
- Work Experience:
A strong, stable work background and be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools. Our team members utilize gauges, charts and other tools to make decisions and record data. - Ability to complete laboratory testing, chemical, microstructure analysis, physical strength testing and calibration of lab equipment.
