General Manufacturing - Component Assembler - Second Shift

Shift: 2nd Shift
Days of Work:
Monday to Thursday

Work Hours:

4:00p.m. – 2:00a.m.

Work Location:

On‑site (Mankato, MN)
Starting Salary: $24.24 to $27.73 hourly + 10% shift differential
Pay Frequency:
Bi‑weekly

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components, sub‑assemblies, and complete assemblies of standard or custom designs.
• Work from detailed drawings, specifications, and/or schematics.
• Adjust, fit, and align parts to meet inspection standards.
• Solder connections to appropriate standards (see Section
  11(e)).
• Perform daily/weekly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks with accuracy and consistency.
• Accumulate 5,000 hours of experience to achieve proficiency in assembly techniques, designs, materials, tools, equipment, and testing devices/instruments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor at the same salary grade or lower.

• Vocational or high‑school graduate with appropriate job training to acquire knowledge of assembly, testing methods, and procedures.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum of 5,000 hours experience in assembly work.
