Job PurposeThe Punch Press Operator will operate equipment for assigned work in a safe and productive manner at the direction of the Punch Press Lead.
Job Responsibilities- Insert and remove metal material in a variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Operate punch press with a variety of materials in coil, strips, and blanks.
- Ensure product produced meets or exceeds customer specifications.
- Review work orders and follow process specifications to avoid errors.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure safe equipment operation, notify supervisor to resolve process, product, equipment, and production issues.
- Provide correct part counts, move parts to the next sequence on job packet.
- All other duties as designated by management.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some knowledge of the operation of manufacturing equipment
- Ability to interact effectively with management and coworkers, assist others with equipment operating problems, understand and follow job routing instructions, knowledge of fixtures, tools, and gauges to measure tolerances and mechanical skills in troubleshooting equipment to produce parts to print.
