Assembler 1 – Pioneer the next generation of innovation

Position Summary:

This position assembles generator sets and sub‑assemblies that include both standard and non‑standard product lines. The role requires using hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques.

• Use work instructions, drawings, schematics, and equipment to perform basic assembly duties in limited work areas (e.g., Final Assembly and Sub‑Assembly).
• Cross‑train in multiple assembly areas and assist in other areas as needed.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and continuously learn the principles, practices, and processes of the job as changes occur.
• Identify defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship, and general quality issues.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and established processes and policies.
• Provide input on continuous improvement opportunities within the department.
• Promote a compliance culture in the area of responsibility and embody the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.
• Perform special projects as required.

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High‑school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. frequently.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and use of tools.
• Basic ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables.
• Experience with repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication and teamwork.
• Quality and detail orientation with basic organizational skills.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technology.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
