Set up metal saws and related equipment to prepare for cutting metal according to production requirements;
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine correct dimensions, materials, and cutting specifications;
Operate saws, band saws, drill presses, press brakes, and other metal fabrication equipment as needed for production;
Measure and mark raw steel and sheet metal to make accurate cuts for production runs;
Load and unload materials, including operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed
