Job Summary
Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 p.m.
- 2:00 a.m.)
Days of Work:
Monday - Thursday
Work Location:
On-site (Mankato, MN)
Starting Salary: $24.24 to $27.73 hourly + 10% shift differential (Additional $2.00 technical differential attainable after meeting CBA criteria).
Pay Frequency:
Bi-Weekly
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions to mix paint materials to proper color and consistency.
- Prepare surfaces and properly apply paint and other finishes to manufactured products with brush or power equipment.
- Properly label and store paint and chemicals.
- Clean, maintain and store applicators, supplies and materials.
- Inspect finished surfaces for proper appearance and use to determine paint build thickness.
- Perform daily/weekly TPM tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Perform other duties as designated by supervisor within the same salary grade or below.
- Finish Painters are required to work a minimum of twenty percent of each week on painting duties.
- Vocational or high school education or equivalent.
- On-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures.
- Minimum 6,000 hours of experience required to perform work and attain necessary skills.
- Must be a sole U.S. Citizen.
