Electronic Assembler

Spherion has immediate openings for both motivated beginners and experienced assembly workers to join a cutting-edge electronics manufacturing team with locations in both MANKATO and ST. PETER.

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM - $18.00
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM - $19.00

• Manually place small electronic components onto circuit boards prior to soldering, ensuring exact alignment.
• Help monitor automated assembly equipment, including surface-mount technology (SMT) machinery, component feeders, and ovens.
• Perform precise hand-soldering and mechanical assembly of small parts using specialized tools, tweezers, and magnifying equipment.
• Visually inspect completed circuit boards for defects, missing parts, or incorrect alignment according to strict high-tech quality standards.
• Maintain accurate, digital production logs and follow detailed step-by-step assembly drawings and instructions.

• Good communication skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Basic computer skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 30#
• Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
