** Summary*
* The Production Panel Line Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing production processes from a centralized control room. This role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the panel line by interpreting system data, responding to alarms, adjusting process parameters, and coordinating with production operators, maintenance, and supervisors to maintain quality and productivity standards.
** Shift** : 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM (Overtime may be required)
** Compensation** : $25.00/hour with $3.00 shift differential
** Sign-On Bonus** - $5,000
- Completion of 6 months: $2,500
- Completion of 12 months: $2,500
We are committed to setting you up for success. Training for this position will take place on the day shift for approximately four months, with flexibility to continue until you feel confident in your role.

- ** Responsibilities*
* + Maintain flexibility to work alternate shifts as needed for vacation coverage; primary assignment is second shift.
+ Monitor panel line performance using control panels, HMI/SCADA systems, and computerized monitoring tools
+ Start up, shut down, and adjust production processes according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
+ Analyze real-time data, trends, and alarms to identify and correct process deviations
+ Maintain stable production rates while meeting safety, quality, and output targets
+ Ensure all operations comply with company safety policies, industry regulations, and environmental requirements
+ Respond promptly to alarms, abnormal conditions, and emergency situations
+ Initiate corrective actions and escalate issues as required
+ Provide clear operational instructions during normal and upset conditions
+ Document shift activities, equipment issues, and production data in logs or electronic systems
+ Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations
+ Monitor product quality indicators and take corrective action when specifications are not met
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness
+ Assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues to minimize downtime
+ Identify potential equipment or process issues and notify maintenance as needed
+ Support preventive maintenance activities
+ Assist with testing and commissioning after maintenance or process changes
- ** Qualifications & Experience*
* + High school diploma or GED required
+ Associate degree, technical diploma, or vocational training in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Process Operations, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred
+ 2+ years of manufacturing, process operations, production control, or industrial operations experience preferred
+ Working knowledge of HMI (Human Machine Interface), SCADA, PLC-controlled equipment, or other automated control systems
+ Experience operating automated production equipment, panel lines, or process control systems preferred
+ Ability to monitor and interpret production data, process trends, alarms, and operating parameters
** Physical Demands & Work Conditions*
* + This position requires continuous visual attention to multiple monitors, control panels, and process indicators for the duration of a 12-hour shift, with a high level of focus and attention to detail required to ensure safe and efficient operations.
+ Ability to quickly respond to alarms, operational changes, and emergency situations.
+ Ability to frequently use a computer, keyboard, mouse, touchscreen controls, and communication devices.
+ Ability to occasionally stand, walk, climb stairs, and access production areas for inspections, troubleshooting, or coordination with operations personnel.
+ Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations, and moving equipment when entering the production floor.
