Heavy Assembler

Condux International Inc. is seeking a Heavy Assembler to build specialized tools and equipment used to install power and fiber optic cables. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will assemble heavy mechanical and electro-mechanical components using blueprints, work instructions, and precision tools. Responsibilities include fitting and fastening parts, performing in-process inspections, and ensuring products meet strict quality and safety standards. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and teammates, support continuous improvement, and help deliver reliable equipment for critical utility infrastructure worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Assemble heavy mechanical components and cable installation equipment per specifications and blueprints
• Use hand and power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices to fit, align, and fasten parts
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality, safety, and conformance to standards
• Read and follow work orders, assembly instructions, and engineering updates
• Safely operate material handling equipment to move and stage parts and subassemblies
• Document work performed and report defects, tooling issues, or process improvements
• Collaborate with engineers, leads, and teammates to resolve assembly problems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5
• S and safety procedures
