Maintenance Technician
Diagnoses and repairs production equipment and performs planned preventative maintenance on scheduled equipment. Assists production by ensuring equipment is running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Acts as a technical resource, troubleshoots and diagnoses plant and production equipment issues using schematics and technical drawings.
- Performs preventative and required maintenance on production and plant equipment. Repairs equipment, systems, conveyors and/or other systems at the facility.
- Documents maintenance and preventive services performed, and actions taken to fix issues.
- Works with pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic and/or air compressor systems (varies by business unit).
- Provides production and physical plant maintenance support.
- Identifies and implements ideas for process improvements, safety, quality and waste management.
- May performs other various duties such as assembly, operating equipment, machining and welding.
- Promotes company safety policies, workmanship standards and operational procedures among team members while displaying strong quality consciousness at all times.

Education: Typically requires an associate/technical degree in a maintenance technology, a related certification, or equivalent.
Experience: Typically requires 2 years of production maintenance experience.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience with pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic, and/or air compressor systems (varies by the business unit hiring).
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform diverse tasks while requiring minimal supervision.
- Ability to attain forklift driving certification (requirement may vary by business unit).
- Compensation range $25.00 - $35.00 depends upon experience.
