Bolton & Menk is in search of an experienced Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Group in our Mankato location. This position will focus on supporting our growing presence in Wisconsin and Greater Minnesota and collaborate with our client service managers to develop and deliver client solutions. In this role you will develop a thorough understanding of internal staff capabilities to develop compelling sales and marketing materials. In addition, you will collaborate with client service managers to develop successful client and pursuit strategies.

In this role, you must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
- Maintain knowledge of the industry and markets the firm serves
- Research and gather information on potential clients and projects
- Assist with marketing plan development to meet firmwide goals
- Assist with developing strategic initiatives for the firm
- Coordinate and track business development opportunities via CRM
- Maintain a strong understanding of clients, staff relationships, and client needs
- Work with technical staff and proposal specialists to develop pursuit strategies and assist in developing content for proposals and statements of qualifications
- Write content for resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, and other necessary marketing and pursuit language
- Coordinate with marketing and communications staff to identify external brand enhancement opportunities (conferences, presentations, article development, awards, social media content, etc.)
- Coordinate with administrative staff for organization affiliations, memberships, and sponsor ships
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university
- 5 or more years' experience, preferably with a professional services organization
- Demonstrated knowledge in marketing fundamentals
- Strong skills in client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of client satisfaction
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Client Resource Management (CRM) software such as Deltek Vision
- Beneficial skills include graphic design capabilities, experience with Adobe Photoshop, knowledge of marketing/client databases, knowledge of proposal processes
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.
Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
