General Campaign Intern

As General Campaign Intern
, you are a big part of the Greater Mankato Area United Way team! This person serves as a support team member throughout the campaign rally season. This internship is in person, primarily in the United Way headquarter office in Mankato, Minnesota, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST, with occasional evenings and weekends for events. Note; this un-paid internship has room for major flexibility, and we will work with you around work or school schedules.

As a General Campaign Intern, you will work closely with the Campaign Team to plan and prepare for Employee Campaign Rallies. You will also enter pledges into the systems from the paper pledge forms gathered  may attend rallies as needed. You will assist the Resource & Donor Development Director as needed and work very closely with the Campaign & Pledge Manager and Data Systems Manager to ensure all tasks are complete on time.

You will assist with Community and Business Mailers. You will also help execute United Way hosted events such as Human Foosball and Fire & Ice Gala. Must be w illing to work alongside volunteers.

Must have a mission driven heart. High School Diploma. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. High level of integrity and responsibility. Work in a timely fashion, on time. Team player. Confident public speaker a plus.
