This isn’t your typical surgical care unit. This team was recognized for receiving the PRISM award that celebrates medical‑surgical units that sustain excellence. This is the first unit in Minnesota to receive this nationally recognized award, TWICE!
Care for those who are admitted after surgery from the General Surgeons, Vascular Surgery, OBGYN (hysterectomy), ENT, Urology, Plastics, and Trauma Surgery.
- Schedule
- Part‑time or Full‑time | Onsite
- Rotating day/night | 12‑hour shifts | 7am‑7:30pm & 7pm‑7:30am
- Every other weekend (Fri‑Sun) | Every other holiday
- Set weekend schedule allows you to self‑schedule your weekday shifts
- Pay and Benefits
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $43.43 per hour
- Pay range: $41.34 - $62.01 per hour
- Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts
- Up to $8,000 hiring bonus!
- $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates!

- Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required
- BSN required within three years
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
- National Certification in Medical‑Surgical Nursing preferred

Hiring bonus requirements:
To be eligible for the sign‑on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full‑time or part‑time benefited position. Previous Centra Care employees qualify if they have not worked for Centra Care for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
Relocation assistance requirements:
Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for Centra Care in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
