• Patient evaluations, including consultations and post‑surgical care.
• First assist in the operating room.
• Acute management of patients during level‑red trauma activations.
• Ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Formulating diagnostic impressions and developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and prescribing pharmacological agents and non‑pharmacological therapies.
• Operative first assist, inpatient management, and ambulatory care patient responsibilities.

• Registered Nurse Practitioner
  :
  Master’s‑prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP or ACNP.
• Physician Assistant
  :
  Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.

• 2 years’ experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
• Previous first assist experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at start date.

Schedule:

Full Time, 80 hours per pay period. Typical hours:
Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑4:00 pm with shared responsibilities for weekend shifts and overnight call in a 1:5‑6 ratio. Weekend and night coverage is shared in a 1:5‑6 ratio.
