Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with all aspects of the quality systems as needed included: in process inspections, testing and release of all
raw materials and finished products. Responsible for the effective completion of raw materials and product release and ensuring
compliance with established quality procedures and company policy.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure complaints are logged and closed appropriately. Coordinate stock checks and rework of product as required in response to complaints.
  • Coordinate test samples and results with internal and external laboratories.
  • Log test results, product manufacturing information, and retain samples in spreadsheets.
  • Issue required documentation needed for production such as production records. Review receiving documentation for raw materials and inspect to ensure raw materials meet all requirement standards.
  • Assist Quality staff with stock checks, deviations, running and distributing repots, and other various documentation requirements including maintaining training requirements, SOP and specification generation updates CIA/DHR review and filling and test method development.
  • Performs internal audits and line audits to ensure all departments are in compliance with FDA and ISO regulations, as well as internal requirements.
  • Review all related documentation (production, cleaning, analysis records) for completeness, accuracy, and assure the product meets all specifications. Place finished product on hold when necessary and complete finished product release when applicable.
  • Perform testing and inspection of vendor samples, finished goods and/or raw materials manufactured by or for Medline Industries.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Ability to process all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing concise conclusions.
  • Basic math skills including fraction to decimal conversions.
  • Ability to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with Microsoft Office. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$21.25 - $30.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
