Quality Inspector B - Second Shift

Job Summary

Shift: 2nd shift (4:00p.m. to 2:00a.m.)
Days of Work:
Monday – Thursday

On‑site (Mankato, MN)
Starting Salary: $24.81 – $29.45 hourly
Pay Frequency:
Bi‑Weekly

• Perform mechanical and electrical inspection of complex equipment and electronics.
• Set up and test electronic components for conformity to manufacturing standards.
• Record type and quantity of defects.
• Make quality decisions, determine reasons for rejects, and decide disposition.
• Work with suppliers and buyers to communicate defect information and corrective actions.
• Interpret complex drawings and specifications for inspection.
• Review and generate inspection documents.
• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and testing devices.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Complete other duties as designated by supervisor within the same salary grade or below.

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal accredited apprenticeship or equivalent training in inspection required.
• Ten thousand (10,000) hours of experience to understand inspection principles and procedures.
• Must be a sole U.S. citizen.
