GSS MN Howard Lake The Lodge is a small 18‑apartment assisted living facility located in the beautiful city of Howard Lake, MN.

Howard Lake, MN 445 1st St E, 55349, USA

Evening part‑time 7.5 weekly hours. 2 days each week plus alternate weekend rotation. Saturday & Sunday required. Base pay $18.50‑$23.50/hour with a weekend differential of $1.25/hour.

Prepares baked goods, cooks, seasons, and portions for residents, staff, and visitors in accordance with menu and dietary requirements. Adheres to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation. Maintains labeling, storage, and equipment in a clean and organized manner. Works with internal customers, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.

Follows standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines while documenting steps and temperatures. Operates equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, combination ovens, grinders, processors, fryers, grills, deep‑fat fryers, induction burners, knives, dishwashers, garbage disposals, refrigerators, and freezers.

Works independently when necessary, demonstrates understanding of food safety and sanitation, applies basic math, reads and understands recipes, remains on feet for the majority of the day, and walks far distances throughout the facility.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions. Basic math proficiency. Minimum six months of applicable experience preferred. On‑the‑job training provided.
• Serv Safe may be required within a designated time frame. Additional endorsements may be required. Annual continuing education and safety education requirements must be fulfilled.
• BLS may be required depending on location. Valid driver’s license may be required.
