Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Responsibilities- Operate forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing and positioning merchandise and pallets.
- Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow and documenting required paperwork.
- Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, setting up displays, processing defective items, and ensuring proper sanitation and safety compliance.
- Support club pick up orders by assisting with picking and staging, ensuring orders are completed within acceptable time frames and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
- Handle inventory, track in-stock levels, control shrinkage, identify and report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools and equipment safely.
- Operate and maintain forklifts, report unsafe conditions, and inform management if forklifts are not in proper working order.
- Provide technology assistance by proactively identifying customers who need help, engaging with them, and modeling technology services to teammates.
- Collaborate with teammates to create an inclusive work environment, reinforce a culture of belonging, and support team development and success.
- Act with integrity by upholding standards of ethics and compliance, modeling company values, and maintaining accountability for self and others.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or work performed). Premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications: 90 days of prior experience with forklift operation; ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience, retail experience, supervising a team.
