Ziegler Rental, a division of Ziegler Companies, is hiring a Rental Coordinator. The role involves creating, maintaining, and closing rental agreements while communicating updates with internal and external customers. The position is fast‑moving, rewarding, and focused on customer problem‑solving with industry‑leading Cat® construction equipment.
ScheduleMonday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Overtime may arise but is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities- Provide rental support to the Rental Sales Team to ensure excellent customer service.
- Answer incoming calls from Sales Representatives, customers, and the rental call center.
- Generate customer quotes, create and close rental agreements using Ziegler’s proprietary rental software.
- Monitor rental reports to manage daily tasks and ensure process compliance.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries and returns with the Transportation Department.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoices, including collection of unpaid balances.
- Build and maintain knowledge of rental fleet equipment and their applications.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
- Assist with inventory management when needed.
- Follow up with Sales Representatives and customers via phone and other communication channels.
- Participate in after‑hours, on‑call support as needed.
- Assist with special projects and training when needed.
- High School Diploma or GED; a 2‑ or 4‑year degree preferred.
- Customer focus, attention to detail, dependability, efficiency, planning and organization.
- Ability to multi‑task in a demanding environment.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Preferred: rental industry knowledge.
Physical Requirements
Walking, talking, hearing. Working conditions may be both indoor and outdoor; noise level may be moderate at times.
CompensationHourly pay plus incentive in the range of $49,900 – $73,900, dependent on skills, experience, and education.
