Sr. Sales Manager
Position Summary:
Support the selling of our products and services through our direct sales to meet expected sales and gross margin levels as set forth by the Sr. Manager – Direct Sales by performing the following duties.
- Manage the activities related to planning, forecasting, reporting, new business analysis, project tracking.
- Assist in operational and strategic planning to ensure basic data and assumptions surrounding OP input is accurate.
- Work with Sales and Account Management and other areas of the company to develop, maintain a strategic initiative plan for accounts.
- Study procedures to improve efficiency of sales. Provide technical training to sales representatives, distributors or their clients. Train sales representatives and distributors in order‑taking procedures and customer relations techniques, and advise them of new or revised information on products or merchandise such as product capability, pricing, credit, warranties, and shipping.
- Design and develop product presentations and other sales materials with direct sales managers for customers.
- Maintain competitive product and pricing knowledge. Prepare composite reports from individual reports of sales representatives and distributors.
- Maintain harmony among sales personnel, sales engineering support, manufacturing engineering, production, sales representatives and resolve grievances. Address errors and complaints.
- Manage travel/promotional assistance budgets.
- Coordinate activities with assigned accounts. Responsibilities include helping management identify areas of needed sales channel improvement.
- Train sales representatives, appraise sales performance and report to management; address complaints, provide sales support and be instrumental in conflict resolution. Assist in developing new sales.
- Adhere to employee conduct, rules, regulations and company guidelines set in the employee handbook and guidelines found on the Company Intranet.
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.
- Perform special projects as required.

- Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) in Business or Engineering and 7 years experience in large equipment/genset sales management within the power generation industry, or 11 years of experience in the same field. - Passport required.
- Must be able to travel 30–50% of the time.
- Experience in selling power generation in the U.S. market with a good understanding of its financial model structure.
- Experience with building relationships with EPC, developers, integrators, ESCOs, engineering firms and with end users with whom previous sales of generators.
- Excellent ability to present information in written and/or oral form to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work extended periods without supervision and strong personal drive with a "can do" attitude.
- Able to understand electrical engineering diagrams and drawings.
- Excellent ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent knowledge in spreadsheet analysis and financial management.
- Knowledge and ability to communicate in building construction situations involving M/E contractors, design engineers and commissioning engineers.
- Excellent ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.
- Flexibility – excellent ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to handle multiple tasks through prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.

Pay Range: $114,400 – $185,900 annually
