HVAC Technician - Commercial & Residential

Finken is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our Plumbing & Heating department. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM (Additional hours as needed)
Reports To:
Plumbing & Heating Manager

This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

• Install a broad range of HVAC fixtures and components in residential and commercial settings.
• Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely.
• Read and comprehend plans and blueprints for installation projects.
• Analyze and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Follow oral and written instructions from supervisors and team members.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with team members, customers, and contractors.
• Ensure job sites and company vehicles remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Submit paperwork, including timecards and work orders, to the HVAC Division Manager daily.
• Follow all Finken safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Experience: HVAC installation, service, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently.
• Licensing:
  Must maintain required licensure qualifications.
• Physical Ability:
  Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. unassisted and working in various conditions.
• Time Management:
  Punctuality and attendance are mandatory.
• Driving:
  Must have a valid MN driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Communication:
  Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Work may require bending, standing, climbing, and walking for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working at heights up to 3 ft. and lifting/carrying equipment.
• Must be willing to travel for work, including potential out-of-state projects (up to five days at a time).
• Absolutely no smoking in company vehicles or buildings; permitted only in designated areas.

$28 - $40 per hour (Based on experience)
