What You’ll DoMobile Vehicle Service & Repairs Perform routine maintenance and light repair services at customer locations, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacement, recalls, inspections, and minor repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic vehicle concerns within the scope of mobile service capabilities
Complete repairs accurately, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
Ensure all work is properly documented and repair orders are completed accurately and timely
Customer Experience & Communication Provide professional, courteous service while interacting directly with customers
Explain repairs, maintenance recommendations, and service findings clearly and professionally
Communicate service updates, delays, or additional repair needs to customers and dealership service staff
Represent the dealership positively while working in the field
Vehicle & Equipment Management Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the mobile service vehicle
Ensure service tools, equipment, and parts are stocked and maintained appropriately
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the mobile service vehicle
Follow all safety procedures related to tools, equipment, vehicle operation, and off-site work environments
Operational Support Coordinate daily service schedules and routes efficiently
Communicate with service advisors, parts staff, and management regarding repair needs and scheduling
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions
Support dealership service initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring Previous automotive technician experience required
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Basic computer and tablet proficiency for repair documentation and communication
Ability to lift, carry, and work in a physically active environment
Work Environment This role includes a combination of mobile, outdoor, and customer-site work environments, including:
Frequent driving and travel to customer locations
Exposure to varying weather conditions and outdoor environments
Regular standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and physical repair work
Use of tools, equipment, and dealership service technology in field-based setting
The Mobile Service Technician helps expand the dealership’s service capabilities by delivering convenient, reliable maintenance and repair services directly to customers. This position plays a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing service accessibility, and supporting dealership growth.
